Torre dei Bonacolsi

Located on one of the side roads to Piazza Sordello, the brick structure, part of Palazzo Bonacolsi, was ordered by Pinamonte Bonacolsi to protect, as best as possible, his possessions, after acquiring the palazzo and tower from the Acerbi family.
The façade of the tower is characterised by windows with lowered pointed arches, and the structure is linked to the nearby building by a covered bridge, ordered in 1300 by Rinaldo Bonacolsi.
The tower is currently private property and, as such, is not open to the public.
