Braque vis-à-vis, Palazzo della Ragione Mantova

Opening in Mantua on September 5, 2018 through February 3, 2019, in conjunction with Festivaletteratura, is the exhibition Marc Chagall. As in Painting, So in Poetry, to be held in the Palazzo della Ragione.

The exhibition itinerary offers 150 works dating mainly from the period between the two wars and after World War II. Thanks to a large body of graphic works, together with artists' and ceramics books, from the Kunstmuseum Pablo Picasso Münster, the exhibition investigates the often neglected influence that Braque has exerted on French art in the 1960s and 1970s.
