A prestigious new musical project has been organised in Mantua.
It will be a great season of music with more than 45 concerts featuring classical, jazz and contemporary styles in the city’s most beautiful concert venues, scheduled throughout 12 months.
Società della Musica, I Concerti della Domenica, and Eterotopie Piano Festival are among the most significant local music initiatives.
These events have come together to form a single coordinated musical season under the emblematic title of MANTOVA MUSICA: a prestigious musical journey, one of a kind and simply dedicated to great music in all its forms.
This musical initiative is without precedent in the history of the city.
MANTOVA MUSICA is a project sponsored and supported by the Municipality of Mantua, a symbol of the city administration’s new cultural strategy and the expression of a renewed creative season in which the music is in the foreground.
MANTOVA MUSICA will be one of the main projects of Mantua Italian Capital of Culture 2016.
New communication materials, new strategies, specific sites and social media to connect Mantua and its inhabitants even closer to one of the most precious and important forms of culture, music.
