Torre dei Boateri

Dating back to medieval times, it can be recognised because of its fortified architecture.
It belonged to the Boateri family who, according to records from after 1280, were a wealthy family who owned most of the buildings in the vicinity of the church of Santa Maria della Carità.
The tower house, which is still inhabited and privately owned, is not open to the public.
