Jewish ghetto - via Giustiziati e piazza Concordia

Via Giustiziati was home to a long portico and a series of low cottages resting against the back of Palazzo della Ragione.
Piazza Concordia (formerly Piazzetta dell'Aglio) was the "commercial heart" of the ghetto, because it was home to the Jewish market.
Up until 1908, the space occupied by the market was significantly limited by the numerous cottages which, one next to the other, formed a crown around the Rotonda di San Lorenzo which, deconsecrated and dilapidated, was entirely hidden to passersby.
